Going second (or even third, fourth and fifth) hand is the only way you’re going to be able replicate the look of a crusty old punk at a price thats not going to break the bank. This vintage red biker jacket is our current favorite option on ebay and we’ll be keeping a close eye on it over the next few days……..

Mens Fashion Tips reckons denim jackets are going to be pretty big over the first half of 2012. We’ve been shopping around for the last few weeks and have found a couple of great options, 2 more Wintery versions with fleece collars and a couple of lighter options

First up is this great Vintage Renewal Fur Collar denim Jacket available from Urban Outfitters. Adding a faux fur collar to a classic style Levi’s denim jacket, this is an absolute snip at just £65. We’ve yet to feel the true bite of Winter so Mens Fashion Tips reckons this is a great option to keep you stylish and warm when the cold weather kicks in.

Next up is this True Religion Jimmy Sherpa denim jacket available from Asos for a cool £269.

As mentioned in our last post, Mens Fashion Tips have been scouring the post Christmas sales for any bargains and have managed to acquire a couple of great items which we will be featuring over the next few days. Anyone who has had the misfortune of leaving the house the last few days will probably have been battered into submission by the gale force winds and lashing rain (we hate January with a passion).

However, looking on the bright side this does provide the perfect excuse to part money for a good old fashioned raincoat. Mens Fashion Tips picked up this cotton raincoat from Zara for 69.99 in the sales (down from £89.99) and we’ve barely had the opportunity to take it off since! Lightweight and stylish yet durable enough to survive the monsoon season here in the North of England, Mens Fashion Tips reckons this is a great deal, especially as the bad weather isn’t threatening to depart any time soon……

The French brand is popular with our achingly cool Parisian cousins across the channel and last year opened the first of its stores on British soil. The brand has only been established for around 3 years but already has a cult following of indie hipster types with size 28 waists (and thats just the men).

The brand comes with a delightful dash of French pomposity (the brand conjours “a state of mind that has the sombre thoughts of night owls falling in love in the early hours of the morning” according to their official site) but with clothes this good, we can forgive a bit of pretension………
